what were your RESPONSIBILITIES as an intern?

My internship was focused on supporting a leading global financial services client to conduct reviews for a set of prioritized processes. Some of my day-to-day tasks included developing SAP Signavio process maps and formulating risk statements.

What was your favorite/most memorable part of your internship

A highlight of my internship was the intern challenge in San Antonio, a 1-week training program that presented a great opportunity to meet dozens of people throughout the company from fellow interns to the CEO! It was also a great way to simulate a real-world consulting experience before starting the internship!

Walk us through a day in the life of your internship?

My workday typically began at 8:30 am, either at the Protiviti office or the client site, depending on my schedule. I started by checking my emails, and then joined my team to review our action items for the day before diving into our tasks. A key part of my internship was participating in coffee chats, which provided me the opportunity to understand the career paths and experiences of full-time employees at Protiviti. I concluded my day around 5:30 pm.
